Native birds artworks.

I think that what I think I did well was my feathers on the takahe.
The thing that I think I could improve next time would be making the bird a little bit thinner.

First I got a piece of paper and chose a bird to draw.
Next I got a template of a takahe and traced around it.
Then Suzy gave us a bag of crayons and told us to do our base colours.
After that Suzy said that we had to make it look like paint so we had to do texture.
Lastly we did the background.
Today we dyed our pictures in either Orange, Brown, Yellow, Green.

Working with clay

I made a pinch pot out of clay. First I made a long worm. To make the worm I got my small piece of clay and rolled it until it kind of looked like a worm. Then I made a small circle and winded the spiral around it. I then broke a small piece of the front.
